It guarantees a constant pressure of the backing disc on the surface, preserving it from any damage during processing.
The pressure is calibrated by acting on a knob to continuously adjust the angle of incidence of the backing disc on the surface, allowing an ideal tool set for each type of operation. Rotary Sander Stornello also has a rotation speed adjustment on 7 different levels, making it very flexible.
