Equipment specification is difficult to get right from a description, because cutting behaviour depends on the stone, the substrate and the operator as much as on the machine. Working on your own material removes most of that uncertainty.
Training matters at least as much as the machine. Most poor results come from grit sequencing and machine handling rather than from equipment that was not capable of the finish.

How to choose
The decisions that actually change the outcome, rather than the specifications that are easiest to compare.
- Bring representative material
- A demonstration is only as useful as the sample. Offcuts of the stone you work with, in the condition you normally receive it, tell you far more than a prepared test piece.
- Judge the whole sequence
- A machine that cuts aggressively is not automatically the right choice. What matters is the total time and consumable cost to reach the finish you sell.
What it will not do
- Availability depends on workshop scheduling and is arranged by enquiry
- A demonstration cannot replicate every site constraint you will meet
